Red Bricks API

Changelog

New capabilities, meaningful improvements, and fixes across the Red Bricks API.

Fixed

Fixed a bug where project locations could appear incorrectly

Stricter checks now keep invalid or mismatched project locations out of map results.

Project locations are checked before they are saved and again before they are returned on maps.

Fixed

Made the 100-call Sandbox limit clearer

The 100-call allowance is now shown consistently across the API site, and account usage reflects the limit attached to the subscription.

Sandbox project access is unchanged.

Fixed

Fixed an issue with expiring API tokens

Teams can create and edit API and MCP tokens with an expiry date again.

Tokens without an expiry date were unaffected.

Improved

Added Red Bricks OS booking to the API site

Book a Demo now opens our native Red Bricks OS calendar, keeping appointment and contact details connected to Red Bricks.

The booking experience remains inside the Red Bricks product family from the first click through follow-up.

Improved

Moved Red Bricks API to redbricks.ca

The API, documentation, support email and customer pages now use redbricks.ca. Older website addresses redirect to data.redbricks.ca.

Red Bricks API now has one consistent home across the product, documentation and support experience.

Improved

Improved floor plan matching so unreliable results are dropped

Floor Plan Match now returns no match when the available options are too weak or contradictory, instead of returning an unreliable result.

Stronger confidence and layout checks make returned matches more dependable.

New

Added filtered floor plan search across projects

Search floor plans across projects and narrow results by bedrooms, price, size, availability, city or neighbourhood.

A single search can now find matching floor plans across the Red Bricks project catalogue instead of checking one project at a time.
